Well so far this week I've managed to drop my work laptop...still works just fine, boots up perfectly etc but the screen isn't much good, can't hardly see a damn thing on it...thought I'd be able to claim on my 'accidental' contents insurance, after all surely this will be covered as I accidentally dropped it, I mean who in their right mind would drop a perfectly good laptop that they've only had for 10 months and it's in perfect working order...think again...*exclusions* apparantly one of the exclusions on the accidental contents insurance is...'mobile, portable PC equipment'..Grrrrr, what is the bl**dy point in paying extra for times when you really do need some help and then to not be able to receive it...makes my blood boil! So Ive had to dip into my holiday fund savings (hoping to go to Florida in Ocotber, not had a holiday for 4 years so really hoping I can go) and buy a new bleedin laptop, after all I can't do without one when I'm at Ponte at work...sooo if there's anyone out there who I've met before who can see if my old laptop is salvageable in anyway and get the screen back to working condition please come forward and let me know...
I've had an 'easy' week this week, in terms of my first week back after the dreaded cold/bronchitis of the last two weeks...'easy' because you're all tiring me out and I'm actually needng to sleep...Oh god am I getting old!! lol. Back to normal next week though guys!
Tomorrow night I'm going to Hull New theatre to see 'All the fun of the fair' with David Essex...how much is that a blast from the past eh?? lol Nooo, not going with him, he's in it, just to clarify in case you thought i'd gone all 'Z' list celeb struck all of a sudden hahaha..rightyo, am going to sign off for now cos I really am in the mood for making cards...feeling all arty farty...
