Just want to say sorry if anyone couldn't get hold of me today, I set off from home at 7.30am to drive through to Ponte, unfortumately my car had other ideas and after about 11 miles of thinking shall I go any further with the brakes making this sound I decided to pull over and ring the AA...couldn't believe it when it was the same AA man who saw to me last time when my nearside brake caliper seized on, and guess what, it was the offside brake caliper this time...so again I was towed back home to the garage in the village..by this time it wa about half past 9 and I knew i hadÃ, 4r appoointment at 12pm...son to the rescue, thank goodness it was his day off work (I knew there was a reason I paid for his driving lessons etc!) and he drove me through to Ponte (first time of driving on a motorway apart from in his 'pass plus' test but he did really well, so so proud..anyways we got here at 11.15am and I was scurrying around getting everything sorted for my full afternoon of fun, said bye to my lad and off he went confident as an 18yr old can be and left me worrying he'd be ok driving home.
Had a wonderful afternoon, which then extended into going for something to eat, so can I say thank you to 'M', for a spankingly good time, hope you got home safely!
Also, because I'm here in Ponte without a car, there is no way I can do outcalls at the moment...and when my car is ready I'm going to have to get my son to pick me up after work so that may mean reduced availability...I'll keep my answer machine updated as always...talking of answer mahines thanks for your lovely comments by txt or email to let me know you appreciate me updating as often as I can with up to date availability..No problems...I'm sorry if my messages ramble on sometimes but hey, that's me!
