Well guys I've been in London since Friday helping my best friend who's sold his house to pack, and also say my bye byes to a house that holds a lot of memories for me, I got back yesterday afternoon...
This could only happen to me...
I was going on an UP escalator at Kings X, someone in front of me lost their balance which knocked my brand new suitcase (had it in front of me as it was big n heavy) which in turn then knocked me over, which then resulted in me being somehow being on my front looking down towards the floor but I was on the bit of the escalator that's flat as you get on then gradually the 'steps' come into place so no matter how hard i tried to get up i couldn't... The person who knocked my bag didn't help and cleared off, there was a couple below me who tried to help but as they had lots of luggage it was hard for them, this went on for about 2 minutes then the escalator stopped. I looked up and a guy at the bottom of the escalator just said 'i didn't know what to do for the best' so whilst getting up i was thanking him profusely, he then went and got on the other 'up' escalator' whilst the couple (who sounded German) gestured and tried their best to ask me if i was ok. I thanked them also and with my heart pounding (for the first time in my life i felt what it's like to feel faint) I carried on and caught my train back up North. Oh boy, my back is now killing me, my legs and feet are swollen and covered in bruises n scratches...I look a right sorry sight. Got two appointments booked in for today and going to have to cancel as there's no way I'd want anyone seeing me when I'm not my best... So sorry but until I'm able to give 100% my phone is off and I'm not working, let's hope it's sooner rather than later eh!? Celly xxx |
